Krakow Airport - pickup and onward travel
At KRK, follow the pickup point shown for your particular ride after you book. Uber, Bolt and Freenow may give different instructions. The SKA1 train is a direct alternative to Krakow Main Station and Wieliczka.
How to meet your Uber, Bolt or Freenow driver
- Collect your bags, enter your destination and compare the available ride types and prices.
- After booking, read the meeting point and walking directions in your app. Follow these directions rather than assuming every service uses the same stand.
- If the location is unclear, message or call your driver in the app and name the exit or a visible landmark.
- Before entering, match the registration plate, car and driver details with your booking.

Airport taxis and fares
Krakow Airport Taxi is the airport’s official taxi service. Its published zone fare ranges from PLN 29 for up to 2.9 km to PLN 169 for 23-27 km. Beyond 27 km, agree a fare with the driver; the published limit is PLN 8/km. These are the official service’s distance bands, not fixed prices to particular neighbourhoods. Confirm the applicable band before departure. Uber, Bolt and Freenow prices are dynamic; check the live offer in each app. We have no timestamped app price sample to publish as a reliable estimate.
Train and buses
Krakow Airport railway station is behind the multi-storey car park and connected to the terminal by a covered footbridge. SKA1 runs via Krakow Main Station to Wieliczka Rynek Kopalnia. The airport listed single fares of PLN 20 to Krakow Main Station and PLN 24 to Wieliczka when checked on 1 October 2026. Its FAQ estimates about 20 minutes by train to the centre. The airport bus page lists routes 209, 300 and night route 902; allow for traffic and check the current timetable.
Popular destinations
City centre and Old Town: compare a direct car with SKA1 to the main station followed by a walk or local transport.
Krakow Main Station: SKA1 runs directly and avoids road congestion.
Kazimierz: enter your precise address; the district is not a single taxi fare zone.
Wieliczka: SKA1 serves Wieliczka Rynek Kopalnia. Check the timetable for your arrival.
Zakopane: confirm availability, full fare and travel time for a long car journey, then compare rail and coach services.
Avoid a pickup mix-up
