Warsaw Modlin Airport - pickup and transport
Modlin (WMI) is not Chopin Airport (WAW). Before booking a car, compare the live fare to your Warsaw address with the train plus airport shuttle or a direct coach.
Requesting a ride
- Set your origin to Warsaw Modlin Airport (WMI), not Chopin.
- After booking, follow the pickup point shown in your app and the terminal signs.
- If the pin is unclear, message your driver rather than guessing which car park or bus stop to use.
- Check the car registration and driver before boarding.
Uber and Bolt have WMI airport pages, but the actual pickup instructions can depend on the ride. Check Freenow service availability in its app.
Train and airport shuttle
Modlin railway station is away from the terminal. A Koleje Mazowieckie shuttle bus connects the two and is coordinated with trains. Check the current schedule and ticket for both legs. WMI does not have the terminal-side underground station found at WAW.
Direct coaches and taxis
The airport also lists direct coaches to Warsaw, including Contbus and FlixBus, and taxi information. Confirm the current stop, timetable and price with the operator. Agree on the taxi fare basis before departure.
Connecting between WMI and WAW
If you have another flight, check its airport code. These are separate airports and the trip across Warsaw needs a realistic time buffer.
